By Metro

Take the Red Line Metro Service to Jebel Ali, the closest station to Motiongate. You will need to take a taxi from there to get to  Dubai Parks and Resort.

By car

From Dubai Marina, it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to get there. If you are driving from Abu Dhabi to the north, it will take you about an hour.

By taxi

One can easily book an online taxi service like Uber or Careem. Depending on the peak hours, a one-way trip in an Uber can cost you around $40 to $60. It is very efficient when travelling in a group or with family.

Tip

Visit Legoland first. Its closing is 6.00 pm; afterwards, you can head over to Motiongate; its closing time is 8.00 pm, allowing you to explore and enjoy the park’s rides and entertainment until closing time.

Buy tickets online to get a discount and save time by avoiding the lines. Go for tickets with QFAST. It will save a lot of time from queuing for every ride.

(Q-Fast privilege will take you straight to the front of the rows so that you can enjoy it without having to wait in line)

You don’t need Q fast on weekdays, as the few people in the park and also few people lined up for queue. However, if you need one, you can easily upgrade at the front desk at Legoland.

The first thing you visit is Legoland Dubai Park, the Factory Zone.

Miniland

Located at the centre of Legoland Dubai, just after the Factory, Miniland is a fully air-conditioned dome. You can view a miniature version of Dubai made from lego blogs.

You can see famous buildings in Dubai like the Burj Khalifa, the Burj Al Arab, the Mall of Emirates, the Dubai Marina, and Sheikh Zayed Road. Also, you can find historical buildings like Petra in Jordan, the pyramid of Giza in Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, and many others.

Anyone who likes Legos or is interested in architecture and engineering should visit the Miniland. The craftsmanship and attention to detail on every building will amaze you, and it’s a great way to see some of the world’s most famous landmarks on a smaller scale.

See how spectacularly MINILAND changes as it lights up with a mesmerizing light show that is better than any other you have seen. Check out the amazing display of 15,000 LEGO models brought to life by more than 800 lighting channels. It’s a great place to take photos of beautiful scenes.

Lego city aims to educate children through hands-on experiences of real-life scenarios. 

The zone features several rides, including a driving School’, ‘Boating School’, ‘Police Headquarters’, and ‘Rescue Academy’, which teaches basic civil rules and societal values. 

Through these rides, children can learn while they steer a boat, drive a car, and participate in a fire rescue mission, all while gaining an understanding of the roles played by everyday heroes such as firefighters and police officers. 

While the rides may be thrilling, their primary objective is to educate your children.

Legoland’s most adventurous roller coaster, Dragon, is here. The ride begins from within a stunning castle constructed entirely from Lego blocks.

For small children, Dragon’s Apprentice ride might be a better option.

Get on the Dragon roller coaster from the Ancient World. The ride starts in a magnificent castle where you can see scenes from the King’s life made from LEGO bricks. Then, the outdoor track twists and turns at 60km per hour.

Dragons Apprentice

A smaller version of The Dragon Ride

01. A free shuttle service is available between the parks. 

02. Let your child build their own dream Lego skyscraper at the Miniland.

03. Pick a map at the entrance to help you navigate the park quickly and easily.

04. Watch Legoland’s most famous Ninjaco muppet show and 4d cinema show.

05. Purchase a refillable bottle at Legoland (AED 75 for one bottle or AED 130 for two), and you can enjoy unlimited refills of soft drinks and water throughout the park for the entire day. While the bottles may be small, they can help keep you hydrated as you walk around and are more cost-effective than buying individual glasses of cold drinks.

06. Don’t miss out on the chance to take selfies with the famous LEGO characters in every zone. These figures are a must-see attraction and provide excellent selfie opportunities to remember your lifetime.

07. Remember your sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. Most of the zones and rides are well protected from the heat of the desert, but you have to walk a lot to get from one attraction to the next.

08. Your child can obtain a driving license at the Driving School, and there is an option to purchase a “proper” license that comes with a photocard featuring their picture, a transparent holder, and a neck strap. You can find the booth for purchasing these licenses near the exit.

09. Don’t forget to take personalised engraved lego brick or keychain at the factory

10. There is no outside food allowed in the theme park or water park except for baby food and small meals for people on special diets.

11. Before queuing up for a ride at Legoland Dubai, check the posted age and height restrictions at each ride to avoid disappointment for yourself and your child and save time for other suitable rides.

12. There is a place for a baby care facility in the imagination zone. The baby care facility has a kitchenette and a play area for babies. This is a great place for moms to nurse their babies while their older children play in the park
