Global Village History
The Global Village began as a small effort as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival in 1996. It was made up of multiple small kiosks themed after several countries. Approximately 500,000 people visited it during the first season, proving the concept’s success.
The Global Village was relocated multiple times. It was formerly located in Bur Dubai, beside the Dubai Municipality and not far from Dubai Creek Park. Later, the project was relocated to Oud Metha, and then to Dubai Festival City.
However, a permanent location was found in 2005; it is now located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and covers an area of 1,600,000 square metres. The ease of travel connections and the ability to easily reach the location via public transport were essential factors in picking a location for the Global Village.

Ticket Prices
There are two ticket options available
value ticket, which is 20 AED, valid Sunday – Thursday ( excluding public holidays)
Day Ticket, which is 25 AED, valid any day of the week
Children under the age of three are free.
You can pay for individual rides, games, and attractions as you play them at Carnaval.
