On your way to the entrance and Adjacent to the serene waters, you will spot bicycles for rent. A variety of bike selections for adults and children are available.

04. Kid’s playground

The MIA Park’s playground has three areas for children of various ages.

The play area is divided into three sections for children aged 2 to 5, 5 to 12, and 12 to 16.

The price of the bungee trampoline is 25QR, and it is only available on weekends.

PaddleFit is a technique that combines paddle boarding with kayaking.

The trips are supervised by an expert kayaking guide and a trained lifeguard and are suitable for people of all ages due to the sheltered paddling location at the MIA Park (although swimming skills are a must). Every paddler will be given a buoyancy aid and will be taught basic paddling techniques and safety measures.

07. Visit Richard Serra’s Sculpture “7” To See Its Beauty

created by American artist Richard Serra. The structure comprises seven steel plates placed in a heptagonal configuration, with dimensions of 78 feet high and 8 feet wide.

It was unveiled to the public in 2011 after three years of construction.

When viewed from across the MIA park, it appears to be floating on water.

The ‘7’ sculpture highlights the significance of the number 7 in Islamic culture.

The sculpture serves as a beacon, inviting visitors to go through the park to the pier. You may get there for free or use a small golf cart that parks at the park.

08. Shop at MIA Park Bazaar

MIA Park Bazaar is a modern twist on the Old Souq tradition, with over 100 stalls available only on weekends.

Every weekend, MIA Park Bazaar provides a lively combination of fun activities and vendors selling various handmade accessories, paintings, apparel, food, jewellery, photography, and art.

Liam Gillick’s “Folded, Extracted, Personified” sculpture’s installed throughout Doha’s MIA Park. It consists of large-scale interactive panels, each unique, with “head-in-the-hole” cutouts.

Park Rules

Because Mia Park is a family park, there are several laws and restrictions that you must follow.

  • Dress Code

The clothing code is essential to maintaining the park’s civility. It is best to dress modestly for the park. If you dress inappropriately, the authorities may refuse access to the park. Short articles of clothing are not permitted inside the park.

  • Playground Rules

The playground is only for children ages 2 to 16. No adults are permitted into the play area unless they are carrying children under the age of ten.

  • Trampoline & Bungee Jumping

No drinks and eatables are allowed inside. To be eligible for these activities, a person must weigh less than 90 kg, and the harness must fit properly.

  • . Do not leave litter. Use the proper waste containers to help keep the park clean.
  • No bicycles or smoking in the playgrounds.
  • Swimming, fishing, barbecuing, bringing dogs, open fires, and other risky activities are prohibited here.
  • Smoking not permitted

Flag plaza Qatar

Flag plaza is the newest art installation in Qatar.

It is located 200 meters from MIA park.

The Flag Plaza officially opened on the 4th of October 2022.

It represents friendship and understanding between nations and their people.

Another feature of the Flag plaza is artist Najla Al Zein US, HER, HIM art installation. It is a series of sculptural benches more than 313 meters long.

It illustrates acquaintance, friendship, love, confidence and familiarity.

There are plenty of spaces and seating for relaxing in this area.

The best thing to do here is to find your country’s flag and take a selfie.
