01 KATARA MOSQUE
The katara mosque was designed by Zainab Fadil Oglu, a female architect from Turkey. Katara mosque is an architectural marvel. Both Persian and Turkish architectural styles can be seen throughout the mosque.
The external walls are covered in blue and gold tiles, and a team of specialists from Dolma palace in Istanbul was responsible for decorating the interior and exterior of the building.

Brick and lime gypsum are traditionally used in the construction materials of Qatari buildings. In this building, the tower can accommodate up to 14,000 birds simultaneously.
