Stadium 974 Design
Fenwick Iribarren Architects designed the stadium.
The stadium was built on a 450,000-square-meter waterfront property.
The eye-catching and vivid colours of Stadium 974 give the impression that it was built out of huge, multicoloured Lego blocks, making it a cutting-edge and contemporary stadium.
Compared to traditional stadiums, the 974 stadium’s innovative modular design has resulted in fewer building materials being needed in construction.
The entire structure is designed to be removed and reconstructed elsewhere; it is FIFA World Cup’s first temporary stadium.
Its location by the water gives it a natural cool breeze that helps the cooling systems work less hard.
Stadium 974 LEGACY
After dismantling the stadium, the place will be reimagined as a waterfront attraction. In a picturesque setting by the sea, a wide variety of businesses, restaurants, cafes, and green areas will be available to tourists and locals alike.

How to get 974 stadium
Metro
The stadium is a 30-minute walk from the Ras Bu Aboud Metro Station (Gold line).
Stadium Express Buses
The quickest route to the stadium is via stadium express buses. This service will take people from designated Stadium Express Bus Hubs to the stadium, at least a 6-minute walk away from there.
The bus service begins four hours before the match’s kickoff and ends an hour and a half after the final whistle.
One hour before kickoff, the last bus will depart from the terminal.

Stadium-to-Stadium Express Buses
During the competition’s group stage, a complimentary Stadium-to-Stadium Express Bus service is provided for ticketholders having tickets to matches on the same day. It allows direct transport between stadiums without entering Doha’s downtown.

Travelling your own vehicles
A parking lot can be found near the stadium.
These parking lots will open four hours before the start of the event and will remain open for one and a half hours after the game has ended.
In addition, there will be parking choices for those with disabilities.
Taxi, Uber, Careem
The location for dropping off and picking up guests at the stadium is at least a 30-minute walk away.
This area will become accessible four hours before the start of the match and will remain available for one and a half hours following the final whistle.
